SA Open Judo Championships 2010

Please follow the procedure as set out below for all judoka who have been selected to represent Kwa-Zulu Natal at the upcoming SA Open Judo Championships being held in Vanderbijlpark from 27 September to 1 October 2010:

Procedure for Judoka/Parents


  • Inform your club coach/secretary that you intend competing at the SA Open
  • Pay your entry fee to your club coach/secretary, fees as follows:
Individual R200-00 per entry (Group 5 entering Group 6 - no charge
Kata R200-00 per pair (additional entries by same pair - R170-00)
Creative Kata R100-00 per participant (maximum of 6 participants in a group)
Masters R200-00 per entry
Wild Cards R1 000-00 per entry (maximum 2 entries per province per weight category)
  • Complete both the forms below and hand to your club coach/secretary together with two ID photographs
  • Attend the NAJA Squad Trainings (details below) - for which an attendance register will be taken

Procedure for Club
Coaches/Secretaries

  • Complete the prescribed template: KZN Template SA Open 2010 Entries
  • Collect all entry fees from judoka and deposit into NAJA's bank account, using the following reference:  (your club name) SA Open.
  • Email the prescribed template and proof of payment (into NAJA's account) to the NAJA Secretary by 7 August 2010.
  • Collect the NAJA Code of Conduct & Indemnity and the NAJA Consent & Personal Information forms, together with two ID photographs from each judoka and hand to NAJA Secretary at the first NAJA Squad Training (15 August 2010).
