Full Membership
- May participate in any tournament and activity arranged under the auspices of JSA.
- Each full member will receive a full copy of the JSA Grading Syllabus from NAJA.
Recreational Membership
- May only participate in closed Provincial tournaments arranged against members of the province that he/she is affiliated to.
- May NOT compete in JSA or Provincial Trials.
- May NOT compete in Team events against other provinces affiliated to JSA.
- JSA will only recognize up to 4th Kyu (Orange Belt)
Leisure Membership (one year to NAJA only)
- Only for new Judoka.
- May only participate in NAJA Novice tournaments.
- May not grade.
- Is not recognized by JSA.
- Judoka entering this category will only be classed a beginner for one year.

Cut-Off Dates
Final Cut-Off for NAJA Judoka Entering SA OPEN: - 20 March 2012
- This is the final cut-off for Coaches who wish their Judoka to participate in the JSA Open International Championships.
Assisted Players - 14 March 2012
- Clubs wishing to register Assisted players, who wish to take part in the JSA Open International Championships, must register these players by 14 March 2012. These applications will be forwarded to the JSA Development Officer in time for their cut-off date of the 19 March 2012.
Procedure
Please refer to the NAJA Constitution Paragraph 5. Membership (available on NAJA website)
- Each Club to please send details of their Registrar to the NAJA Registrar (must be a registered member of NAJA)
- Please use the new NAJA 2012 Registration Forms only. Any other forms will be rejected.
- By applying for registration or re-registration with NAJA, you agree to accept the constitution of this association and the constitution of Judo South Africa, the controlling body.
- All judoka/clubs are to complete the registration form and return to the NAJA Registrar via email (najasecretary@gmail.com) or fax (086 542 5141) together with their proof of payment.
- Parents wishing to officiate in any capacity must apply for full registration.
- Annual registration fee to be paid into NAJA account, details as follows:
Natal Amateur Judo Association, Standard Bank, Msundusi Branch (040727), savings account number 286830108. Please use "REG" following by judoka's name as reference, e.g. REG A SMITH.
- The NAJA Registrar will list registrations received on this website under Registered Members 2012.
- Once reconciliation is done and payment is confirmed against the bank statement, the clubs application will be put before the Executive for acceptance.
- Once the Executive’s decisions’ are received, the Registrar will notify the clubs thereof.
